A Big Thank You!We would like to thank all of our guests who attended our wedding on
July 25, 2009. The wedding was a huge success and we will remember this perfect day for the rest of our lives.
We would not have been able to pull this off without the help of our many friends and family. It is impossible to name everyone that was involved in helping us on our big day but we will try! We want to start off by thanking our Wedding Party.
Ron Wai, you will go down in the history books as "The best bestman ever". Ron, you got everyone's attention with your emotional speech and good humour.
Cristine Lo, the Maid of Honour did everything humanly possible to help us prepare for the wedding. Cris battled a cold, battled 35 degree Celsius weather, and battled no sleep.
Tim Ma and
Amy Truong were excellent MC's and prepared games and shared stories beyond any of our expectations. Tim was his usual funny self... Amy, good job in keeping Tim on a leash so that he doesn't cross the line with any dirty jokes.
Elton Teng, you gave an epic speech that made the crowd cry, smile, laugh, and cry again. Thank you for the toast, it was spectacular.
Jennifer Chan did an amazing job preparing "The Skit" that gave the guests an insight on how Jess and Allen met and got to this point. You are all beautiful people, thank you for being by our side on our day and we love you all!
We have to thank our wedding manager
Levina Chin and her fiancé
Joe Do for running around behind the scenes for the entire day ensuring everything was prepared... keeping the stress off of us. Levina, you were at the right place, at the right time, everytime. You made the day happen... thank you!
A very special shoutout must go out to
David Lo and
Stephen Lo from
JDSM Studios. Dave we can't thank you enough for all that you've done, I don't know how we will ever be able to repay you for the hours of work you put into our wedding. The music for the entire "surprise dance" was edited, mixed, and produced by Dave. The slideshow was produced by Dave. The cribs video was produced by Dave. The wedding video montage, Dave. The wedding DVD that our families are so desperately wanting a copy of... yes, you guessed it... produced by Dave. I think our wedding can officially be called "The Dave Show".
A wedding with 350 guests is difficult to control. We have to thank all our helpers, videographers, and ushers
Michelle, Jay, Shu, Lydia, Anita, Alex, Owen, John, Stella, Derrick, Shawn, Stacey, Solomon, Uncle Mike, Joshua, Kelly, Herb, Uncle Louie, Alden, and Justin.
We can't forget about our cute flower girls
Jaelyn and
Miya for being up there with us. They nearly stole the show.
We also have to thank
Pastor Joseph Chan for all the love, attention, and support you provided. Pastor Joe, thank you for making everything run smoothly, thank you for your thoughtful prayers and sermon, and thank you for sharing this moment with us. We love you.
Our photographer,
Jason from
www.photoalberta.ca you are THE BEST. We recommend any couple planning to get married meet with Jason and look at his work. With so much passion, talent, and attention to detail we will definitely be going back to Jason to do future family portraits. Thank you for capturing the day.
Thank you to all our families who helped in so many ways. Our parents, uncles, and aunts helped with anything we needed. Jess' family from the States (Alden, Alison, Kathy, Carey, Candy, Sarah, and Ryan) and Allen's brother Justin, his wife Jusim, and niece Juni from England. We love you and will miss you!
Love,
Jessica and Allen
